Hanson joins securitization origination team

Barclays Capital has hired Liz Padova Hanson as a managing director in its Americas asset securitization origination business, according to an internal memo obtained by IDD.
Hanson will lead coverage of credit card issuers. She reports to Giuseppe Pagano, who oversees the credit card, student loan and covered bond sectors of the ABS platform.
Hanson, based in New York, will partner with Ben Colice, who leads the firm's covered bond origination effort in the Americas.
Previously, Hanson worked as a senior ABS coverage banker at RBS Capital and ABN Amro.
