Lehman Names Niles Chief Exec of Neuberger Berman Technology Management

Lehman Brothers appointed Dan Niles chief executive of a new business called Neuberger Berman Technology Management, which will focus on technology investments for institutions and wealthy individuals. Niles was previously a semiconductor and computer hardware analyst. Tim Luke, who covers data networking and wireless equipment, and Harry Blount, who covers storage networking, will take over coverage of Niles companies.
In July,Lehman bought asset management company Neuberger Berman for $2.63 billion in cash and stock.
