BofA Names Rietbrock New Head Of Equity Research
Greg Ransom, who previously led the equity research department, was named head of trading risk analytics.

Bank of America hired Michael Rietbrock as head of the equity research department. He will be based in New York and report to Paula Dominick, chief operating officer of global markets.
Rietbrock joins from New York-based trading and investment firm Caxton Associates, where he managed a portfolio of global real estate and travel-related securities for the past two years. Prior to Caxton, he worked 12 years at Citigroup Salomon Smith Barney covering the lodging and gaming sector.
Rietbrock will be responsible for the overall direction of the equity research department and will work closely with the sales and trading teams to more fully integrate research into the broader equities platform. He will oversee a team of publishing analysts in the areas of consumer, diversified industries, energy, finance, health care, technology and media and telecom.
Additionally, Greg Ransom, who previously led the equity research department, was named head of trading risk analytics. Ransom will utilize his expertise in financial analysis to inform risk management strategies across the banks trading desks. He joined BofA over three years ago as global head of high grade debt research and was a member of the basic industries high grade research team.
