Lenrock Lands Former BofA Healthcare Analyst

France worked for more than four years at BofA, and prior to that spent seven years at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Joseph France, a 25-year veteran healthcare analyst, joined New York-based hedge fund Lenrock Capital Management this week, according to sources.

France most recently worked at Bank of America, which laid off thousands of employees, mostly related to the bank’s global corporate investment banking unit, at the end of last year and early 2008. France was reported to have been caught up in the layoffs. He worked for more than four years at BofA, and prior to that spent seven years at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Lenrock has a newly created long/short, sector fund, Lenrock’s Healthcare Total Return Master Fund I, according to the fund's website. The portfolio manager, Howard Capek, a principal and founding member of LMG, was a former healthcare analyst on the Street, holding positions at UBS and Credit Suisse.
