What's Next for Morgan's Zaoui?

The firm's European M&A chairman says he has no plan to leave the financial-services sector.

Michael Zaoui might be leaving Morgan Stanley, but he's not exiting the investment banking arena. 'I am in the process of retiring from the firm, but I have no intention to be a retired person,' Morgan's chairman of European M&A tells IDD. 'I've always had a broad range of outside interests, and in this period of my life I will be spending even more time exploring those interests. However, I will continue to be very active in financial services.'
