Founded in 1997, the Deal of the Year Awards aim to honor the best work investment bankers have done — the transactions that created the most value against the longest odds, the ones that pushed the boundaries of convention, the ones that made a lasting mark on their industry. Honorees are selected solely by the editors of IDD.
This year, the editors will select the top deals in 15 categories, plus an M&A Deal of the Year.
As part of the Deal of the Year program, IDD also honors individual professionals and firms for outstanding work throughout the year, with awards for Banker of the Year, Middle-Market Banker of the Year, Bank of the Year, and Middle Market Bank of the Year.
This years special edition of IDD profiling the winners will be published Jan. 29, 2010. The nomination window is open until Dec. 18, 2009. To be eligible a deal must close during calendar year 2009.
To submit a nomination, please send us a brief cover letter that clearly identifies the transactions, people or organizations you are nominating and why you believe they merit an award. Please also specify your own relationship to the transaction. Please include as much supporting material as possible, including prospectuses and other documentation. Individuals may nominate themselves. All nominations will be kept confidential. Mail nominations to the attention of Aleksandrs Rozens, Managing Editor, at Aleksandrs.Rozens@sourcemedia.com or care of SourceMedia, 1 State Street Plaza, 27th Floor, New York City 10004.
