IDD’s 2009 Deals of the Year

It’s that time of the year again. I’m happy to say that we’ll be announcing our Deals of the Year award winners early next year. Of course, to do that we need your help. To say it’s been a trying year for dealmakers would certainly be understating the remarkable turmoil in the financial markets this year. But we’re not focusing on quantity. As in past years, we look for creativity first—a willingness to go back to the well to solve a problem and create a solution for a client/situation that often is without precedent, a trait that surely would have come in handy in the current environment. Then we look for the impact on a sector or a marketplace, along with hurdles that were overcome, and the size of the deal.

Submissions are due by Dec. 18. Please provide as much information as possible about each deal with your submission. Feel free to submit as many deals as you like in each category, but please keep in mind that the deals must have closed by Dec. 18.
